For more than three decades, Robert Wright has dedicated his career to helping individuals and families make confident, informed financial decisions. After beginning his professional journey as a graduate teaching assistant at Michigan Technological University—where he earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering—Robert went on to work in advanced research and manufacturing automation for Texas Instruments' Defense Group.
In 1991, Robert transitioned into financial services with Complete Wealth Advisors, where he continues to serve clients today. He holds several advanced professional designations, including Certified Retirement Counselor® (CRC®), National Social Security Advisor (NSSA®), and Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CFPA®). His insights into Social Security have been featured in Heather Schreiber’s Social Security Advisor Newsletter (June 2024).
Robert’s planning philosophy emphasizes clarity, education, and strategic decision-making. He is especially passionate about retirement income planning and Social Security optimization—areas where his technical background and analytical strengths create exceptional value for clients.
In addition to his professional work, Robert has a long history of community leadership. He is the President and founding board member of Richfield Public School Academy, serves as Genesee County Coordinator for the Michigan Bluebird Society, and sits on the board of People of Impact, an organization supporting transitional housing for U.S. veterans. Robert also has a strong history of service with Rotary, Junior Achievement, and other local organizations.
